Katelyn Senkus is from Macomb, MI and is a first-year doctoral student in the Human Nutrition PhD program at UA. She currently works in Dr. Crowe-White’s Redox Lab to investigate the effects of bioactive food components on measures of oxidative stress, inflammation, and vascular function. With the goal of becoming a physician scientist (MD/PhD), Katelyn will attend medical school after the completion of her doctoral program.
